Job description

We are looking for a Digital Messaging Sales Director to generate revenue by closing strategic account sales for our Digital Messaging Hub. Strategic accounts are named clients critical to the organization in terms of market share growth and other business goals.  Preferred candidates will be located in CA, OR, WA, NV or CO.

Specific duties include:

  • Manage accounts to its fullest potential of revenue production
  • Meet and exceed assigned quota set forth in compensation plan
  • Act with the highest integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of the job
  • Manage a quarterly travel and entertainment expense budget allocation

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable history of new business prospecting and closing $750,000+ with Global 2000 clients.
  • 10-14 years experience selling enterprise software applications, preferably in the digital messaging industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience executing a complex sales cycle closing deals comprised of Digital Message  promotional and operational (transaction) email, Mobile, SMS, Social Media offerings
  • Experience selling Digital Message Professional Services to include implementation, creative and advisory digital services
  • Experience executing a complex sales cycle closing deals comprised of software, services, managed services with an average sales price in excess of $500,000
  • Strong track record of over performance in hunter role selling enterprise solutions
  • Extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and independent
  • Influential; perceived by prospective client as credible and consultative
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel to clients
