Job description

Lead a team of engineers and support staff in providing Infrastructure as a Service technologies including automation and cloud services. Assess current processes across Infrastructure and either enhance or develop these processes to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance utilizing Key Performance Indicators for our Global IT Infrastructure. Other functions include but not limited to the following:
? Develop and Implement Quality control processes for our IT Infrastructure services, tools, and applications.
? Obtain customer requirements for the future of IT Infrastructure and create plans and processes for Senior management.
? Document and provide solutions to enhance communication processes between IT Infrastructure, IT Engineering, and IT Application teams.
? Create and establish an IT Infrastructure and Engineering product marketing plan for our customers.
? Align closely with our IaaS project team to ensure governance of our IT Infrastructure and Engineering processes.



Responsibilities

Works on abstract problems in variable situations that typically require complex analysis, interpretation, or evaluation of intangible factors. Oversees multiple, large, and extremely complex areas including company-wide IaaS, Quality of Service, Infrastructure Service, and IT strategies. Regularly interact with senior and/or executive level management concerning various functional areas of organization issues and processes. Build relationships with engineering leads to streamline IT processes and implement Infrastructure as a service technologies within Qualcomm IT.


Skills/Experience

10 years of IT experience and 5 years of IT management experience in a high paced and complex IT environment. Familiar with ITaaS, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Cloud, and Virtualization. Quality control and Project management skills preferred. Strong Communication and Leadership skills a must.


Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's or equivalent experience
