Job description

  • Reports to the EVP of Human Resources.
  • Working closely with the executive team, partner with the, Regional and HQ Leadership Team and other senior management members to provide direction and vision for the overall HR strategy and work place culture.
  • Assess organizational strengths and improvement opportunities needed to create and sustain a high-performance culture
  • Develop and evolve all HR policies, practices and procedures to support business goals and company growth 
  • Oversee  HR programs (performance management, organizational structure/career ladders, promotional processes, values/organizational culture, orientation, etc.) to support organizational development and the company’s culture 
  • Guide employee relations by having a strong Employee Relations presence and deploying strategic programs and processes (such as coaching and counseling) in order to build and support a vibrant culture, minimize legal risks and continue to strengthen manager and employee relationships 
  • Ensure that our leaders build and develop high performance teams that help drive the business forward.
  • Manage and develop HR team
  • HR leader provides guidance and support to management at all levels, ensuring consistent and sound advice, both legal and practical, while earning credibility, exercising sound judgment, and demonstrating transparency with decisions and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the SVP of stores

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA and/or advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related field 
  • At least 15 years of diverse HR experience 
  • At least 10 years HR management experience demonstrating superior leadership of the function, including the successful management of HR professional staff 
  • At least 5 years of experience at a senior management level 
  • Extensive experience in the High-tech sector 
  • Extensive experience conceiving, designing and implementing key HR programs and initiatives (training, comp, internal communications, change management) 
  • Experience at company(ies) with global business operations a plus 
  • Highly intelligent, articulate and polished yet “real”, approachable and friendly 
  • Outstanding communications skills – can converse, connect with and enjoy people at every level from senior leadership to line employees.
  • Will fit well with the existing HR team; will respect and optimize their strengths
  • Proven leadership skills with a high degree of influence and ability to persuade, direct, inspire and develop a high performing team of human resource professionals and line leaders in multiple locations to superior levels of accomplishment are required.
  • Strategic business partner and advisor to senior executives with a solid track record of achievement., organizational development, succession planning and employee relations.
  • Oversee policies and programs, minimizing company liability while enhancing employee morale and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to increase employee retention and reduce undesired turnover.
  • Lead compensation and benefits function.
  • Manage geographically dispersed HR team.
  • Guide management regarding claims of unfair treatment, harassment, discrimination, or other concerns.
  • Experience implementing HR infrastructure and processes in a fast-paced, changing environment with global operations.
  • Successful track record of driving talent acquisition in a high growth environment.
  • Internal coach to management, peers and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence partners at all levels across multiple locations.
  • Identify, support, and drive change, working closely with the executive team to build and grow the organization through best practices.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency; past experience working in a fast-paced, complex, high-profile environment supporting senior level executives.
  • Analyze workforce trends and develop initiatives to drive organizational performance.
  • Translate business needs into human resources priorities and ensure alignment.
  • Engage with employees at all levels to understand pulse of the organization.
  • RETAIL experience a MUST
  • STORE HR experience a Big Plus.
