Job description

Essential Job Functions:
The Enterprise Sales Representative will promote and sell the NEOGOV software solutions and servicesthrough outbound telephone and on-site calls to potential customers; support the efforts of the President of the company by participating fully and contributing to the team-selling process; and develop relationships with customers by utilizing excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.

This position includes: prospecting of qualified leads; phone sales;online product demonstrations; proposal writing; sales presentations; contract negotiations; and support of the overall sales and marketing efforts.

Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions over the phone with at least three (3) years of sales experience.
  • Consultative sales experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • FOUR YEAR UNIVERSITY DEGREE with minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Some travel will be required. (trade shows and networking events)


Desired Selling Experience:

  • Enterprise Software or similar complex sales process
  • SaaS
  • Applicant Tracking System sales experience or HR Software
  • Government/Public Sector (not required)
  • Higher Education
  • Utilities or Transportation
  • Human Resources or agency Recruiter who no longer wants to recruit
