SUMMARY:

Join our growing and dynamic Strategic Planning and Execution (SP&E) organization within Business Insurance in a critical leadership role. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing a team of talented business analysts to deliver high quality business requirements in support of specific portfolios leveraging and building domain knowledge and BA skillset throughout the team. This individual along with their team will play a key role in the SP&E organization that is chartered with enabling the business to achieve the BI Vision and Market strategies.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

-Manage a highly productive team of business and systems analyst professionals through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Create a high performing and motivated team culture and atmosphere
-Provide leadership and guidance to team of business analysts supporting a specific portfolio to ensure consistent, high quality and on time requirements deliverables are met.
- Build business acumen necessary based on domain supported
-Partner with BA portfolio lead to solve for complex and cross functional issues and deliver on project deliverables.
-Active participant and advocate of BA best practices
-Manage team capacity and ensure appropriate skill/knowledge are assigned
-Balance responsibility of lead BA with management and development of staff


Education:
-BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience; MBA desirable

Work Experience:
-5-8 years proven leadership experience overseeing large scale programs and/or strategic PMO resources
-Experience in matrix managing and leading teams without direct authority
-Background in applying process acumen to improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes
-3-5 years of P&C experience preferred
