Job description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for Fast Lane’s marketing communication and web strategies. This includes, positioning, public relations, customer communication, advertising, trade show logistics, product/solution promotion, collateral development, web site development and management, marketing campaigns and webinars, social media management, internal communications and graphics and presentation support.

Working with the Leadership Team the Marketing Coordinator will be a key influencer in Fast Lane’s go-to-market strategy and success. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated history of hands on contributions resulting in company growth through strong marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to support the growth of the company brand in the marketplace.
  • Develop and design sales and marketing collateral, (brochures, flyers, catalogues) that clearly articulates our value proposition.
  • Create marketing campaigns and working with the Marketing Automation Coordinator execute on those plans.
  • Create a webinar strategy that drives Fast Lane’s positioning as a technology leader in the marketplace. Coordinate the execution of Webinar plans.
  • Working with the marketing team support the company’s social media strategy and execution.
  • Coordinate and support all industry trade show participation.
  • Be the Fast Lane US web site lead to create targeted content and to manage all website activities.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
  • Create the sales tools that support the selling process of our products. Ensure our sales team has the marketing tools needed to drive revenue.
  • Work with the product management team to ensure we have a first to market strategy and plan for launching of new products or product updates.
  • Develops systems to determine whether marketing objectives are being met, monitoring campaigns and programs, conducting market and customer research.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education: College degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.

Experience: At least five (5) years in marketing role within technology or professional services environment. 

Required Skills: Must be a role your sleeves up self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization. Strong writing skills a requirement for this role.Needs a good working knowledge of Sales Force, Marketo and Microsoft Office andWindows-based computer applications. Strong experience with social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Yelpetc)

Special Skills: Background in technology education marketing would be a plus.
