Position Overview The Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting reviews, develops, implements and maintains processes, systems, policies and procedures associated with areas of responsibility and in accordance with SOX responsibilities. Through communication with business process owners, identify, research, document and resolve significant and complex accounting and/or SEC reporting issues through preparation of technical accounting memos that cover various transactions of the company, including acquisitions, business development projects and other contract-based transactions.

Coordination & Review: * Coordinate and lead SOX program and management testing * Review and approve journal entries and related support

Reporting & Review •Review/prepare routine technical accounting memos, including revenue recognition, leases, asset impairment, wireless license, stock-based compensation, asset retirement obligations, interest rate swaps, debt restructuring, financial instruments and other complex areas. •Research, evaluate, and document impact of and implement future accounting requirements. •Review Forms 10-K and 10-Q and assist with management of the external financial reporting function. •Review other SEC filings as needed by the business.

Audit, Asset and Specialized Projects: •Act as the primary resource and assistant to the Director for coordination with the external auditors. Duties to include coordination of all audit and quarterly review schedules, timely audit issue discussion/resolution and preparation of audit variance analysis. • Management Duties: •Manage functional area and daily activities to ensure effective time management and appropriate accounting treatments. Will review and approve work performed, including but not limited to, journal entries to be posted to system of record and functional areas of the balance sheet. Will mentor staff and consistently provide performance feedback including the creation of bi-annual reviews. Will have ownership of group assignments and delegate responsibilities to staff as appropriate.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications •Bachelors’ degree in Accounting •Big 4 CPA with minimum 6 years experience including 1 year as a manager •Sarbanes Oxley 404

Preferred Qualifications •Masters’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Computer Science. •Wireless industry telecommunications accounting/analyst experience. •10+ years of relevant experience in two or more of the following areas: •Financial Effectiveness Advisory services •Accounting process improvement •IT background •ERP Security and Controls •Exposure to Oracle Financials and: -Oracle Discoverer (Reporting Tool) -SQL Plus
