The Analytics Team enables and empowers the organization with analytic insight to support planning, tactical execution and optimization of the customer experience. The Associate Web Analyst is responsible for supporting the Merchandising and Marketing teams with reporting and analysis. This position is instrumental in development and delivery of business intelligence and presenting actionable reporting and analysis to support business decision makers. Additionally, this position will work with development teams to instrument site content.

Key responsibilities:
  • Utilize web analytics tool to answer business questions and report findings to key decision makers.
  • Work with development and creative teams to instrument site content to capture and report data through web analytics tool.
  • Support administration of web analytics tool to improve data quality and optimize functionality of tool for internal users.
  • Develop and publish reports and dashboards for Marketing and Merchandising teams as well as external vendors.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis requested by internal customer teams.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving online marketing campaigns through analysis of marketing channel performance.
  • Support the Merchandising team to identify opportunities for improved product placement and navigation through analysis of site clickstream data.
  • Automate production and delivery of reports and dashboards.

Skills Summary:
  • BA/BS from a top 4-year program with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business or other quantitative field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with web analytics software (Coremetrics, Google Analytics, etc.) a plus.
  • Have an interest in e-commerce, online marketing, and website operations.
  • Possess strong analytic skills as well as the ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly and efficiently.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable working independently to achieve results with minimal guidance.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have experience with data analysis and reporting.
