The role of theOEM Sales Executive is to increase company revenue and profit through significantpenetration of the OEM segment of the market.


  • Developand execute sales/business plan to penetrate the OEM market segment and capturesignificant market share in assigned territory.
  • Consistentlydeliver on quarterly and annual sales/business objectives/quotas.
  • Deliveraccurate and timely pipeline reports and forecasts.
  • Workclosely with marketing areas to implement tactical and strategic programs togrow the business and spread awareness of LogiXML in our target market.
  • Identifynew sales opportunities and new products opportunities through capturingcustomer requirements, collecting information on competitor’s products andgathering other forms of market intelligence. 
  • Workclosely with legal teams to negotiate OEM software contracts with clients.
  • Providerecommendations to the management team of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities,threats and suggestions of how to address and leverage each as it relates tothe penetration of the OEM market.
  • Developand maintain personal relationships with customers.
  • Workclosely with Sales Engineering on successful POCs needed to close business forthe team.
  • Beaccurate and timely with sales forecasts.
  • Travelon average of 25%.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum4 years of software sales experience.
  • BSdegree or equivalent
  • Experiencenegotiating complex software contracts.
  • Fulllife cycle sales from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
  • Track record of meeting andexceeding quarterly and annual goals.
  • Strong experiencein large scale strategic selling and driving larger/strategic deals to close.

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effectiveorganizational, time and task management skills with the ability to workindependently and lead others.
  • Understandingof general business fundamentals and business issues surrounding the sale ofLogiXML products as coupled with the OEM partner’s product (embedded software)is a plus.
  • Experienceand demonstrated success with outbound prospecting.
  • Ability toprioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
