Stamps.com is seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager with a strong analytical background and marketing experience to drive customer acquisition strategy, grow customer lifetime value and set strategic direction both by extensive data analysis and by leading marketing optimization initiatives. The Marketing Analytics Manager will own and manage website optimization; marketing channels mix optimization, customer research and CRM programs. The position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work cross-functionally with business development, R&D, finance, IT and the creative/design teams to maximize revenue and ensure product and company objectives are met.

 

The responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to

  • Lead website optimization strategy and execution
  • Develop customer insights and identify key performance indicators to design multivariate tests
  • Develop marketing mix and lifetime value models and collaborate with online and offline channel directors to optimize customer acquisition
  • Lead customer retention task force including customer care, marketing, development and finance
  • Design and execute primary customer research (qualitative and quantitative) to assess customer satisfaction with current product / offers
  • Design and execute custom analysis of customer behavior and usage patterns, including account activation, print behavior, attrition and retention and customer lifetime value  
  • Build dashboards and monthly reports, presenting key insights and ensuring data drives actions to improve the business
  • Manage relationship with analytics and CRM vendors including negotiation of contracts, compliance with service levels and problem resolutions
  • Work with product development to create new product strategy based on research findings 

 

The ideal Candidate will possess the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in a quantitative/analytical field; MBA strongly preferred
  • 5-8 years relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical and fact-based problem solving skills, including ability to analyze large amounts of data and be able to make recommendations based on identification of trend and gaps along with creating forecasts based on historical data
  • Must be a self-starter and ready to work in an intense but fun environment with our existing team of marketing professionals
  • Experience with web analytics and multivariate testing tools required
  • Advanced Excel user, experience with MS Access, SPSS, and PowerPoint a plus
  • Experience with OLAP reporting tools such as Business Objects or MicroStrategy a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated individual who is able to prioritize and multi-task 
  • Works well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of cluster analysis, logistic regression and neural networks will be a plus
