Job description

The Covisint Account Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying and selling Covisint's healthcare technology to potential Healthcare clients. This individual will also be responsible for the following key sales activities: territory management (including pipeline maintenance and territory analysis), initiating and maintaining client relationships, client presentations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors. Serve as the sales person for Covisint within a specified territory or accounts.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Covisint sales presentations/overview demonstrations (detailed demos are done by pre-sales consultants)
  • Own the Statement of Work development
  • Forecast and report sales activity
  • Travel as required
  • Develop a regional sales strategy, including a target prospect list, a regional sales plan, and a channel sales plan, coordinate regional sales events, and qualify prospects

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Several years of experience specifically in software or technology sales
  • Experience selling healthcare software and technology
  • A track record of success selling in the Information Technology marketplace
  • Significant experience interfacing at the C-Level
  • A strong understanding of business operations in the healthcare space
  • Ability to partner with key technology associates
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time according to deliverable opportunities
  • Ability to present technology overviews per hardware, services and advanced technology solutions to large groups of clients, partner and associates
  • Established relationships with executives and IT decision-makers throughout the healthcare community


Desired Skills/ Competencies:

  • Proven success in maintaining relationships with the Fortune 1000 organizations
  • Established relationships with executives and IT decision-makers throughout a local/regional territory
  • Proven ability to present to and interact with C-Level executives (credible, strong presence etc)
  • Experience or back ground dealing with (or consulting to) the IT department
