Quality Engineer - Lake Forest, CA


Develops and executes quality assurance protocols, methods and tools to oversee engineering, delivery projects, manufacturing, and/or supply chain processes to standards. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the non-conformances found in the processes, materials, and/or products. Recommends and drives corrective/preventive actions when necessary as well as quality improvement initiatives. Assesses compliance and effectiveness of process controls and procedures. Assures conformance to in-house and/or external specifications, international standards, and applicable government regulations.



KNOWLEDGE

Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.

SUPERVISION

Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is regularly reviewed by supervisor/senior peers.

EXPERIENCE

Typically requires 0-2 years of professional experience.

Preferred: Understanding of PLC/DCS software and hardware.

Preferred: Knowledge of Nuclear Regulator standards 10CFR50 and NQA1
