This is a Specialty Sales Representative position in our Eye Care pharmaceutical division; with a territory geography that covers. This territory covers Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Amarillo and Lubbock Texas along with Western Kansas.  The Territory Manager position manages sales processes for the Eye Care product line in accordance with approved marketing plans.  This is accomplished by utilizing and contributing in high performance selling teams to maximize coverage of physicians and targeted accounts within the assigned territory.  Provides technical product knowledge and support to ensure customer satisfaction.  Effectively utilizes Allergan sales and data resources to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction.  Complies with required reports, requests and promotional compliance and effectively manages Allergan field assets, including samples.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3 plus years general sales experience with a proven track record of successful sales performance
  • 5 plus years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical and business planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with many diverse customers
  • Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, with approximately 50% of overnight  (4 per  month) travel, including overnight attendance at training meetings
  • Ability to drive a car and possess a valid and current driver's license
