Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager directs and controls the utilization of manpower and equipment for timely and efficient manufacturing of quality products to meet standards set by Unilever. The Manufacturing Manager must also support all Safety and Quality initiatives and drive the manufacturing department to a target of Zero incidents. This position will play a key role in the implementation of TPM and the development of a High Performance Teams culture in the Jonesboro facility. Key focus areas include the elimination of work-related injuries, elimination of plant-controllable customer complaints, and achievement of operational efficiency goals through process improvement, improved utilization of resources, schedule attainment, waste reduction and employee morale.

The position reports to the Jonesboro Supply Leader, with Packaged and Process Manufacturing Supervisors as direct reports. Additional responsibilities of the position include TPM pillar champion, participation on the plant Leadership Team, regular communication with functional areas (SHE, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance and Human Resources), training of personnel and serving as an ad-hoc member of teams as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Manage the operations of the factory- including Raw and Pack material management
2.Manage and respond on factory service levels, efficiencies, quality compliance, OSHE compliance and cost compliance
3.Lead Factory improvement programs through TPM Pillar Leadership
4.Lead and support the development of a High Performance Teams culture in the plant.
5.Implement HR policies and procedures
6.Support implementation of innovation within the factory and deliver to agreed ramp up plans
7.Manage and improve deployment of resources, people budgets and assets, to comply with cost and financial targets

Experience: 5-10 years plant site experience, or relevant supply chain experience related to factory operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or related area.
