Job description

- You hold the global sales responsibility for your division (in terms of turnover and profit) and sustain and develop your global sales team (direct and indirect reports)
- By understanding the global market, you have a helicopter view and are able to identify the strategic steps to take in order to anticipate on the market and client needs
- You are able to translate these market requirements to the internal divisions (R&D, Production, Product development, Marketing, ..) and the strategic DMU's
- You set out and motivate the objectives on long and mid-long term; stipulate the KPI's for the sales force in order to attain these targets; follow up and adjustment is a continuous process
- You are able to guide the division from a product sales driven organisation to a more pro-active approach, solution selling and moreover you can motivate your sales team in following this strategy
- In order to create synergies between different divisions you promote and implement an open communication towards other business units and commercial divisions
- You are able to focus on strategic new markets and draw up a business plan for these emerging markets; both on a regional level and development of new product ranges
- Your focus will be on turnover growth combined with strong monitoring of margins

Desired Skills and Experience

- You are a commercial business leader with strong communication skills
- Thanks to your enthusiasm you are able to inspire and coach your commercial team
- You have a broad knowledge and insight in organisational and corporate management
- With your analytical mindset and know how, you implement the necessary tools (ex: CRM) to have an adequate view on the essential dashboards
- You have a broad experience in managing an international sales team
- As a manager you combine your result driven approach with excellent people management skills.
- You are fluent in English, Dutch and French
