Job description

In partnership with a renowned capability development consultancy, Astralis have been retained to identify a Business Development Director to be responsible for sales of customised leadership development offerings to large international clients across EMEA.

You must be passionate about reaching out to large international audiences and inspire them to improve the quality of people development activities for the benefit of individuals, companies and society.

You will be responsible for growing market share in the European customised market for leadership development, increasing the share of revenues from new clients and a number of the top tier/Fortune500 companies.

Key objectives responsibilities (among others):

  • Developing new business in EMEA.
  • Refreshing the company’s new business development approach.
  • Ensuring that sales and marketing collateral is up-to-date and in line with corporate branding.
  • Orchestrating client events and applied research studies.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Solid track record of selling complex consultancy solutions in the leadership development and/or human capital consultancy space.
  • Deep understanding of developing and implementing business development strategies within an executive development context.
  • Credibility at C-suite and Board level.
  • Vast international experience.
  • Experience as an OD/L&D professional with a track record in large change and leadership development initiatives.
  • Previous experience of designing and delivering complex and blended learning solutions.
  • Fluent in English and preferably one or two additional European languages.
  • Masters degree and relevant further qualifications.

In addition, you must have a passion for people and leadership development, be a collaborative team worker with drive and initiative and have very strong client orientation. You will be part of a small entrepreneurial team thus must be a sophisticated operator with an ability to build coalitions of support within organisations.
