Job description

The IIG line of business is looking for an aggressive, high-energy, enterprise software sales professional, with top level security clearance, who brings experience selling complex software into government agencies

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop territory/account plans to achieve goals and exceed multi-million dollar quota responsibility
• Maximize the Storage Software opportunity while providing value added solutions to the customer
• Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencer's and partners.
• Manage effective working relationships with Technical Sales Engineers, Consulting Professionals and Business Development Managers.
• Consistently build and deliver on an accurate territory pipeline
• Travel within your assigned territory is required

Desired Skills and Experience

• 10+ years selling experience with a minimum of 5 years selling to Federal Civilian Agencies specifically. (ex: HHS, US Treasury, NASA, EPA, GSA, FDIC, Energy, Veterans Affairs, Transportation, Agriculture)
• Proven ability to sell enterprise solutions to the Federal Government, both on a strategic and tactical level
• Must have a verifiable track record in and experience to selling the various civilian agencies of the Federal government.
• A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
• Experience in closing seven-figure software deals
• Selling experience must include selling one or more of the following software products: 1). storage management, 2). content management, 3). application servers, 4). portal servers, 5).collaboration, 6). digital asset management/records management.
• Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle with limited technical resources
• Bachelor's degree
