Responsible for the business management for the enterprise server portfolio and associated P&L across different segments (G500, SMB, LE, Public) in the Commercial Business Organization. Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all portfolio and product definition activities as well as the marketing communications programs to promote the sale of server portfolio and further the segment’s sales objectives.
  • Drives LOB strategic initiatives in emerging or established markets that present large opportunities for Dell’s LOB, including conducting research studies and developing comprehensive marketing recommendations for the region.
  • Develops marketing campaigns, evaluates marketing plans and develops strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.
  • Addresses problems across functional areas of the business.
  • Manages the marketing mix and sales enablement such as the preparation of sales material, controlling marketing communications programs and recommends media best suited to sell products or services.
  • Applies knowledge of company’s server capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.
  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand marketshare.
  • Track WW forecasts at regional and product levels in an effort to monitor product decisions that need to be made and to assist regions with planning and sales attainment
  • Analyzes long-term impact of new or anticipated strategies.
    Qualifications

    Required Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with high level presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to motivate and achieve results through others.
  • Must understand technical server product concepts to assist Marketing, ESG and ASG staff on technical proposal and customer solutions.
  • Must be fully knowledgeable in classic marketing skills (i.e., Product, Positioning, Pricing, and Promotion).
  • Prefer a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years professional experience in high tech environment, server background a strong plus.
  • Strong business and financial analysis skills.
  • Executive level presentation capability and ability to work under tight deadline
