Professional Innovator in Corporate Office & Hotel Operations Learning

Our learning industry leader will be that IT person who can effectively present to large, diverse crowds with ease and is a proven leader that has the ability to make clear and concise decisions at the drop of a hat.  You’ll have a sincere passion for managing and directing training and operations services programs for our regionally distributed field and corporate employees.   We’ll need you to define, manage and flawlessly execute training for our corporate staff and hotels negotiating internal resources and external vendor relationships to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness saving time and money.    This person will have instructional design experience from conceptual design to content development leading a results-based deployment.

Large Scale Project and Change Leader

Working with senior business leadership in Operations and Corporate teams to isolate root cause, conduct business analysis and determine the needs of our Organization is a crucial part of this position.  An independent, ROI-focused leader who exhibits both great internal and external communication skills, this leader will plan from design to execution large-scale initiatives that are both on time and under budget. 

Technically Savvy Mobile Learning Trendsetter

An industry leader in Learning, this Trendsetter is willing to take smart risks in the pursuit of excellence.  Communicating and training more than 800 hotels internationally requires a leader in creative learning solutions using a mobile training environment.  Utilizing tablet-technology to train employees in the environment they work, hotels, requires someone willing to apply creative technology solutions to a multi-cultural hospitality industry workforce.  Your training delivery modalities should include but not be limited to iBooks, eLearning, game, social and video-based training and you should have the intellectual curiosity to investigate, test and recommend the best “what is next” in the world of learning technologies.

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

  • High technical literacy with experience in video, social and game based learning
  • Ability to handle multiple goals and projects simultaneously and seamlessly
  • Mobile learning experience using tablet-technology to deliver training to a multi-cultural workforce
  • Experience in managing diverse groups of people toward multiple goals
  • Project management experience driving multiple initiatives using various resources on time and under budget
  • Self-driven initiator, motivated by a passion for hospitality and creative learning
  • International Experience with Spanish as a second language is a plus

Minimum Education:

  • BS/BA, Business, Learning, Training & Development, Computer Information Systems, Learning Technologies, Performance Improvement Technologies

Minimum Experience:

  • 5-7 years in management with Training experience
  • 3-5 years of execution in a multi-unit business environment
