Description
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for Brightcove’s Asia-Pacific region (which excludes Japan). The right candidate must be able to execute a regional marketing program that encompasses lead generation and management, customer and channel programs, marketing communications and research and analysis. A secondary set of responsibilities includes marketing and sales operations support for the region. Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely well organized, detail-oriented and possess outstanding communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities

Lead the effort to execute demand generation programs for Brightcove’s solutions within the region
Use Brightcove’s systems, processes and tools for optimizing lead management and conversion results
Localize and introduce Brightcove’s customer and channel marketing programs to the market to drive awareness, engagement and adoption
Execute corporate communications activities and programs with the media, analysts, channels, agencies, customers and prospects, working in close coordination with the corporate marketing and PR groups.
Organize, execute, measure and manage field marketing events across the region
Support executive visits within the region
Measure, analyze and report on all lead and program efforts with the objective of providing greater visibility to market opportunities and returns on Brightcove investments within the region
Conduct competitive analysis and research efforts to identify segment, size and target markets.
Understand the overall market ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand, ASEAN, the Indian Subcontinent, Greater China and Korea
Marketing Planning – be able to conceptualize, develop, refine, execute, measure and report on an overall marketing plan for the Asia-Pacific region on an ongoing basis. This will include collaborating proactively with all stakeholders to the marketing plan and being able to develop an effective “big picture” approach to developing Brightcove’s market share across the region.


Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
5+ years marketing experience and proven track record marketing technical products (SaaS a plus)
Experience in online marketing is strongly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience conducting market analysis
Hands-on approach toward tackling tactical as well as strategic work.
Proven teamwork skills to help deliver on-time product and project results.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.
Experience in the media industry and/or Internet space is a major plus.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluency in Asia languages also preferred.
The candidate must be willing and able to travel across Asia-Pacific approximately 25%-35% of the time.
