Job description

Plans, manages and implements the corporate sales strategies for the Enterprise Solutions Sales force. Responsible for identifying, pitching and onboarding enterprise-level customers. This role / department is an overlay between Product Marketing and AIS (Enterprise vendors) and Sales (Enterprise customers).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes the strategic plan for Tech Data's Enterprise Sales Solutions
  • Drives new business for Enterprise Solutions Providers.
  • Manages and drives the sales process for Enterprise Solutions Sales
  • Manages resources, administers budget, manages business operations for the Enterprise Sales Solutions
  • Partners with sales leadership on new accounts (account identification, signing, onboarding, developing and executing strategy).
  • Partners with marketing leadership to ensure alignment with vendor strategies. Ensures that Tech Data is driving the right service levels with the right customers.
  • Partners with Field Sales Representatives to ensure that sales strategy is being properly executed.
  • Partners with Technical Services Department to ensure alignment to strategy and execution on deliverables.
  • Manages overall operations of the division and reports on business and marketing activities to Senior Management, Division Heads and other appropriate business stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with Tech Data Senior Sales and Marketing executives to ensure coordination of strategic direction.
  • Oversees management of all human resource initiatives within the Division including hiring, training and development of human capital
  • Establishes and ensures adequate communication and feedback systems within the Division.

Required Educational:

  • Bachelor Degree

Preferred Educational:

  • Master Degree

Previous Experience (Years & Type):

  • 12 to 15 years Solutions Sales experience
  • 5 to 10 years management experience, preferably at 2nd level or higher

Certifications:

  • Comp TIA preferred
  • Vendor Technical certifications preferred.
