Job description

As a Business Analyst, you will provide support to Project Managers in coordinating and/or executing project tasks, producing project documentation and communicating with business partners. Project tasks may include, among other things: preparing project related training and testing materials, documenting and tracking business requirements, executing testing and data input tasks, gathering test results, and data analysis.

The PAM team, of which you will be a part, is responsible for assisting the bank’s business units in the identification and deployment of solutions to business problems. Solutions oftentimes include a systems development or deployment component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational changes, with a significant need for role and responsibility clarity

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Project Execution.
•Understands stakeholder needs and requirements, and can accurately capture in a concise manner
•Can summarize meeting discussions and capture relevant detail and next steps for meeting note purposes.
•Is adept at preparing testing strategies, use cases and test scripts which provide adequate specificity to be executed by novice testing resources
•Organizes and archives relevant testing proof to satisfy internal and external stakeholder requirements.
•Identifies and documents system and/or process deficiencies and recommends solutions.
•Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
•Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
•Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently.
•Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.
•Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively, at times across multiple projects simultaneously
•Performs data entry, data review and analysis tasks as required to further project objectives.

PMO Objectives
•Contributes to the ongoing improvement of our project management methodology, tools and practices

•Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
•Proficient in meeting administration as well as note-taking (creating documentation from discussion)

•2-5 years Banking, investment or other financial services experience
•Familiarity with project management methodologies (preferably PMBOK)
•Skilled at creating and executing system and process testing
•Experience working on complex project teams
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project & Visio
