Job description

We are currently expanding our team by looking to hire a talented and experienced Sales Administrator and Inside Sales Associate with a strong work ethic as well as excellent sales, organizational and management skills. The successful applicant will work closely with the customer-facing sales executives and internal Application Specialists and other departments. Interested candidates should be passionate about their work, always look for creative solutions to problems and have a “can do” and “right now” attitude, while seeking organizational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 5+ years experience in inside sales and sales administration
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • SalesForce.com or other sales CRM familiarity a plus
  • Highly organized and driven
  • Strong personality, can work with external sales executives and support them while keeping them within the process
  • Thinks “process” and “efficiency”, strives to operate within a process and defines new processes when needed
  • Positive personality, takes on challenges with a smile and urgency – and instills the same in his/her peers

Responsibilities

  • Sales Administration:

o    Create and/and supervise the creation of sales documents for specific sales engagements (proposals, quotes, submittal packages).  Communicate with other departments to assure proposals reflect their input and comply with company policies.

o    Manage the internal phase of the sales process, such as requests into the Application Specialists team (schedule their tasks and assuring timely delivery) and proper interfacing with other departments (finance, operations, etc.)

o    Manage the sales documentation process, from collecting the required documents and information (internally and from customers), to filing and distributing the information internally, until the closure of the sale

o    Maintain the company’s SalesForce.com data, distribute periodical sales  and commission reports

o    Provide administrative support to the outside sales executives, maximizing their customer-facing time

o    Define, publish and manage processes to increase the efficiency and information dissemination of the above activities

  • Inside Sales:

o    Manage various lead generation programs

o    Receive external leads and information requests and process as appropriate

o    Conduct prospecting, on-line sales presentations and other sales activities to increase the efficiency of the outbound-facing sales executives

o    Support the external sales executives with a team-selling approach

o    Support third party sales channels, with information, materials and training

o    Close certain sales remotely
