Andy Zmolek

Andy leads business development activities with technology partners for the Divide BYOD solution now available on Android and coming soon to iOS. Blending a development background in unified communications, security and mobility with a direct IT operational experience, his focus on mobile identity and multi-persona mobility solutions for smartphones and tablets is informed by real-world deployment experience within leading global technology firms. Previously, Andy was responsible for technology and business development of enterprise mobility solutions with best-of-breed partners while developing dual-persona strategies for LG Electronics in conjunction with every early technology partner in that space.

At Avaya, Andy drove product development and engineering activities designed to standardize security and identity functionality across unified communications product lines, represented Avaya at the IETF and W3C, and became an early advocate for SIP and XMPP-based, presence-driven communications architectures. Andy has received 10 patents to date for the communications-related security and presence technologies he helped develop at Avaya.

Andy's career began in the defense industry, building real-time simulation networks for missile and satellite systems at Raytheon, mainly with the Tomahawk program. He spent his dot-com years directing networking IT at an enterprise application integration startup acquired by Sybase (now part of SAP). Andy holds a degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University and currently lives in San Diego.
