Zenophon Abraham is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Sports Business Simulations. "SBS" as it's called is a web portal that Mr. Abraham created and that contains simulations for use in the classroom, a network of blogs, videoblogs, message boards, webpages promoting products and services of interest to our visitors, and sports-related content.
SBS brings students who use the sims into a content-rich online world, where they can chat about NFL Draft videos, buy or sell sports tickets, or share the strategy they used to gain the highest score on one of our sims.
Mr. Abraham is the designer and developer of the XFL Simworld and the Oakland Baseball Simworld, and the creator of the simulator concept around which SBS products are built. Both products are the embodiment of his experience in system dynamics modeling, public finance, urban economic development, sports event planning and bid preparation, public relations, journalism, and economics and politics.
Mr. Abraham also created the 100-blog network that's owned by SBS and has the popular "Zennie's Zeitgeist" at http://zennie2005.blogspot.com, and as a video blogger is the focus of the YouTube Channel "Zennie62" at http://www.youtube.com/zennie62
A creative thinker with a diverse background and a track record of accomplishments, Mr. Abraham created the Oakland-Alameda County Sports Commission, then served as its president. In that role, he headed the bid effort to bring the 2005 Super Bowl to Oakland. With Dr. Rascher, he founded Sports Business Simulations.
Mr. Abraham has served as economic advisor to the last two Mayors of Oakland, as a consultant to several California Redevelopment agencies, and as a popular newspaper columnist. He developed the Oakland Baseball Simworld at UC Berkeley and using documents and materials he recorded during his time with the Oakland Mayor's Office.
Mr. Abraham's objective is to build and then sell Sports Business Simulations.
