When you have a large scale cross-reality event (In the real world and online), you need to have the skills and knowledge to manage a breadth of people and pick up the slack yourself when need be. A broad skill set ranging from being able to interact with the public and press to managing teams of people as well as understanding and being able to focus the work being done by those under you is required. To facility this I have aquired several skills over the years.
Working primarily as a coordinater for large and small scale events with a tie in to the Internet and various Metaverses (Read virtual worlds). My skills include 3D design, graphic design, programming, server management, public relations, public speaking, project/group management and more...

One of a two person team managing events within the world of Second Life concurrent with the ongoing Second Life Community Convention in Chicago in August 2007. This three day convention had keynotes, panels and parties that were streamed live over the internet to the virtual convention in Second Life. I hosted the hub for the in world SLCC convention, where most people came to congregate, get information on ongoing events, and head out to satellite locations. Nearly 2,500 people came though the area that I along with others managed during the 72 hour period.
Several weeks of setup was required for the event. Work was done such as mananging various event groups and constructing venues for the event. I had to develop and deploy new techonologies to handle the large scale highly distributed event so that the hub and all satellite locations could be kept in sync automatically.
