TourSpot is making travel social by combining a travel and city guide with social networking features. TourSpot also enhances the experience of travel by combining rich content and live mapping with location-based search capabilities. For example, using TourSpot you can find restaurants, stores, hotels, and nightlife by simply pointing a crosshair cursor on a live map.

TourSpot has several innovative features such as close integration with Facebook and a live mobile coupon feed. For example, while reading about a point of interest you can immediately update your Facebook status or upload a photo to Facebook without leaving the app. Using TourSpot to upload photos into Facebook automatically creates a photo album with the name of the city you are visiting.

In New York City we are providing a live coupon feed based on your location. So if you are walking near Union Square and want to see what deals on lunch are around simply use our TourDeals feature to search for a restaurant that is offering mobile coupons for lunch. TourSpot also has a live event feed with event dates and venue contact information.

TourSpot is available on the Apple iPhone and is expected to be available on the RIM BlackBerry in Q2 2009.
