Currently I am a research scientist in HP Labs. My area of focus is marketing analytics and customer behavior modeling.
I completed my PhD in marketing from UCLA Anderson Business School in 2006. My area of research at UCLA has been in empirical modeling and has looked at developing models to improve the diagnosis and prediction of customer retention (customer churn) rates at an individual level for an Internet website and for a direct-to-home satellite TV provider.
Prior to joining the PhD program at UCLA, I worked for nearly 4 years in brands and product development for companies in India (GlaxoSmithKlineBeecham, go4i.com and CRY) after completing my MBA from Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
I would like to continue doing research in the marketing area using empirical models.
