  Scope : Engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of refinery to produce EURO IV compliant fuel

  Responsibilities:
  
  1. Complete Execution of Fire-fighting package ( Value : 1 million USD )
  
  a) Did the technical & commercial bid analysis of vendor offers, conducted scope and price negotiations, finalized vendor, prepared schedules, co-ordinated between engineering teams, negotiated with consultant and IOCL fire safety teams, got approvals for data sheets, drawings and quality plans
  b) Led task force of 4 contractors and 50 workers to complete execution before deadline day after vendor slipped behind schedule by 2 months due to labour and cash flow problems.
  
  2. Procurement of Refinery Piping
  
  a) Tracked requirements and site material constraints to order correctly 180 kms of pipes of differing sizes and 210,000 other piping items through SAP and self developed spreadsheet. Resolved on-site material constraints by camping at vendors’ manufacturing units to resolve engineering, quality, sourcing and logistical issues.
  
  3. Implementation of eAlps+ material management system on-site
  
  Put into place systems of reporting to a central data entry team- all materials received, issued and used anywhere on the site. Trained 4 unqualified individuals to process data from engineering drawings and material usage reports so as to be able to generate detailed accurate progress reports
