ETHERYL (www.etheryl.com), a lifestyle venture boostrapped out of a personal need-based idea, was grown from a prototype piece of code, to a recognized and internationally used B2B solution, featuring business schools such as INSEAD, Manchester Business School, HEC Paris, Oxford, as well as professional entities such as Manpower, Alstom, Procter & Gamble Alumni of France, European Professional Women's Network and many others.
A group of private investors eventually acquired a majority stake of the debt-free, cash-flow-positive & profit-making entity in June 2007.
(Educational Institution; 51-200 employees; Education Management industry)

Effix Systèmes, is now a part of the Reuters company.
As lead graphical user interface designer, I defined the foundation of what is today known as Reuters 3000 (or Kobra, or X-Tra [...]) , a front-office technology platform for traders that has generated over a billion dollar of sales (software and service) since.
My claim to fame here is to have "borrowed" the object-oriented and visual programming nature of Interface Builder on NeXTSTEP (now Xcode on Mac OS X) and turn Kobra into a first of its kind on the trading floor.
(Self-Employed; Myself Only; Computer Software industry)
January 1987 — August 1989 (2 years 8 months)
Co-developed with my cousin an online community platform (at the time called BBS or Bulletin Board System) as well as a script compiler running on Atari ST. Cash poor, we used the subsidized French Minitel as server modem using a pretty cool hack! We eventually sold hundreds of licences of "Halley & Ellipse"...
