Freelance Photographer
Austin, Texas Area
Freelance photographer, writer, and filmmaker experienced at some level or another in a number of creative disciplines. I don't tend to think of my work in the different professions as being unrelated; instead, I consider myself as having different creative ideas for which different mediums are required. The goal behind them all, though, is storytelling.
Photography: People photography of all kinds, be it photojournalism, general portraiture, or fashion work. I specialize in work that isolates the subject matter via chiaroscuro and composition.
Filmmaking: Low-budget genre-benders, in just about any job role (though I tend to just work on projects I produce myself).

As part of Castle Photography, I shot dozens of weddings and other events; portraits, models, and headshots; a number of bands and theatre groups; production stills for several films and music videos; and documentary photojournalism in Nicaragua and Liberia.
