About artwork for the home and office:
Homeowners know the value of art for their homes. Art is also of great value for business owners. According to two recent studies, art in the workplace is a way to enliven your work environment, produce better results for in-house projects and convey professionalism and sophistication to clients. Art, particularly sculpture, can also help brand your business as professional and forward thinking.
Email me at carl@wsggallery.com if you would like sculpture in your home, office, for a client, for a project, or would like a link to the two studies for the value of art in the workplace.

Duties: Was responsible for projects from bidding stage through shipping the final units. Was responsible for 3 to 6 projects at a time. Total project material budgets were $250,000 to $1,250,000.
Responsibilities at initial bidding: ensuring bill of materials were current with latest drawings; selected vendors to bid on stock & custom built assemblies; visited vendors for custom assemblies to ensure they were qualified to do work, adhered to specifications, level of inspections, job reports, etc.
When the contract was won, reviewed job budgets & selected vendors to fulfill parts delivery in cost-efficient manner. These parts included off-the-shelf parts, sheet metal stampings, castings, & assembly services.
Monitored quality & delivery times to make sure schedule was not impacted. Wrote work orders for production staff specifying which sub-assemblies were to be integrated into larger units. These work orders were used by in-house and government inspectors to help them monitor the workflow. Monitored work flow on the production floor projects to ensure that goals were accomplished.

On one project the two prototypes were delivered 5 months ahead of schedule directly due to my work.
