Lisa Bakewell’s Summary

I have extensive experience with writing for trade publications including The Engravers Journal, Fabricator, Massage & Bodywork, Incentive, and International Bowling Industry Magazine. I write corporate/personal profiles as well as general business information pieces.

I am currently writing for women's consumer magazines in the areas of household finance and savings, health and exercise, family, and general "how-to". I love reading magazines and I love writing for them!

I was selected to be a monthly contributor to "Common Sense", an editorial column in The Herald News, a member of the Sun-Times News Group. I love writing this column because I can write whatever's on my mind that month.

I am also working on two books for The Teen Health Series. My job is to create an outline, find documents to support my outline (either public domain or copyrighted material), edit the documents, and key the books for typesetting. The work is challenging, but I'm learning so much!
