When I started my college education I had only one thing in mind: making cool things on the computer. Don't blame me, I was only 18 years old and have never been so much of a future planner. Over the years I've gotten better at seeing into my personal and professional future and came to realize that "cool things" is a rather broad concept.
So, I narrowed it down to web applications. And have gotten rather good at making those.
I've (co-)created quite a variety of web apps, ranging from web shops to community websites, online news services and site-scrapers. And of course the "regular" page-to-page sites with an easy to work with content management system.
And the future? I want to keep that as dynamic as possible. At some point I want to be able to say that I don't need clients anymore, and can just live off my own concepts. Until then, I'll keep accepting projects and I've just been invited to sail along on a very interesting journey.
