Seeing possibilities comes natural for Wout. He is a sharp observer and discovers what is happening tomorrow. A creative thinker who creates innovative and challenging ideas. These ideas are complete from start to finish. Wout is able to put the ideas in a context, visualise and structure them, develop prototypes and in the end pitch the ideas.
Wout’s goal is reached when these ideas are brought into the real world. His way of operating is simple, he keeps control of the whole process, from his innovative concept al the way through to visualizing, designing and finally reality. This is not a stand alone operation, he uses his considerable knowledge, creative thinking and his vast network for bouncing of ideas every step in his creative process. During this process he inspires others and motivates them, mostly due to his enthusiasm and leadership.
The best example is The Pop Up Agency. Together with five friends and fellow Hyper Island students Wout founded this creative agency. From March till June 2013 they toured the globe working for clients in Europe, Asia and North America. In fifteen weeks, they worked in fifteen countries for more then twenty different clients. For every client they worked 48 hours. They focused on creative strategies, new business ideas and digital solutions.
Cooperation with Wout is working with a truly motivated young man. Someone with an healthy attitude to work. He identifies goals and does his utmost to reach the goal with his whole team. He takes control when needed, he inspires. His “can do” attitude motivates and inspires. Young, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial are words to describe him. A creative person with a mind and heart full of ideas.

The founders of The Pop-Up Agency are six creative students who understand the digital world we are living in right now. They are part of a generation which flows effortlessly from one dimension to the other. The pop-up generation has a need for pop-up museums, pop-up shops and pop-up events. We’ve watched this trend and decided to take it to the next level. That’s why we’ve founded The Pop-Up Agency.
The Pop-Up Agency wants to create a story. A story about a journey, developments, improvements, failures and dreams. And the cool thing is: you can be a part of this story.
The Pop-Up Agency works in an innovative and creative way by which we create sustainability for ourselves and the industry.
Frankwatching is an independent, online magazine about digital trens, events, start-ups and tips & tricks.
Within this company I facilitated workshops regarding Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Prezi, Keynote, iBoot Author and Wordpress. Thereby I was involved in strategy and concept development for clients.
Tell Your Momma is a cover band with 13 musicians. With this diverse band we played (almost) everything: funk, rock, golden oldies, pop and latin.
Within Inbo I worked only at a specific project called Soulife Wolf. My job was starting the online communication strategy. Via a blog and other creative social media concepts we stimulated interactivity for the project. I was also involved in new business development which could be applied to the case Soulife Wolf.
Within Social Medium my job was designing and developing a strong concept or strategy for their clients. All cases had a strong focus on web development and social media.
De Uitvreter is the magazine from my study union Dutch Culture and Language. It got published four times a year.
The SpinAwards are the (Dutch) yearly prizes for creativity in digital communications. I participated in judging the category 'Young Talent'.
Designing advertising for online and print for Hans Stassar Camping en Recreatie. I was also responsible for the corporate identity as well in stores as online.
