Antonio López's goal as an educator, journalist, media producer and speaker is to bridge worlds- mental, cultural, ecological and technological. As the designer of a groundbreaking culturally specific media and health CDROM, "Merchants of Culture," López is an expert on media, culture, Native American and Latino issues. He's written hundreds of articles and contributed to the MacArthur Foundation's six book series, Digital Learning in the 21st Century. His groundbreaking workshops focus on digital media production as a powerful tool for prevention, advocacy and sustainability. López holds an MA in Media Studies from the New School University and a PhD from the School of Punk Rock.
