wnugroho.org studio is an independent experimental research studio focusing in the field of computational art and design through curriculum development, teaching/workshop at art and design institution, as well as exhibition. ITB indirectly funded the studio through Widianto's salary as webmaster, and Microelectronics Center, ITB, indirectly funded the studio through Widianto's salary as research assistant.

Member of RUSNOSS group, working on creating/packaging F/OSS-based (software/hardware) product.
Prior joining the group, funded by Microelectronics Center, Widianto with his colleague and his student has created open source desktop themes that depict Indonesian culture and tradition called Kamonesan. The themes designed to work with GNOME desktop environment, and has distributed to other open source projects, such as the BlankOn project.
