Winne Soh is the Co-founder of Dream Axis Pte Ltd , a contents provider company launched in early 2008 with a core purpose to develop immersive virtual space as a mainstream media channel. Winne started Dream Axis with the belief that the future of the Internet would be connected by series of 3D spaces, versus current 2D spaces, and would open up new ways for users to share contents and collaborate using 3D shared spaces, such as in immersive virtual worlds. In addition, Dream Axis is also an organizational member of the Web3D Consortium, contributing to the development of standards and applications for the 3D Internet.
Winne currently also serves as the Treasurer at the Association of MACHINIMA Arts & Sciences driving the Machinima, or game-animation making, movement in Singapore and Asia. Winne believes that the concept of “play a game, make a video” encourages end-users to take up animation production as a hobby and this movement would help to identify and groom the next generation of game makers and animators.
Prior to starting her own company, Winne Soh already had 5 years of industrial experience in the interactive media industry even while she was an undergraduate. She had broad experience in working with international advertising agencies and IT solutions companies, creating and delivering effective business media for corporations such as Microsoft , Palm and Singapore Airlines . She had also worked in Shanghai, China, as a Marketing Supervisor at Fractalist China Inc., a mobile media and marketing company. She was engaged in the launches of various mobile marketing campaigns for multinational clients, such as Volkswagen and Nokia .
Winne holds an Honours Degree in Computing with a Minor in Technopreneurship from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she attended the NUS Overseas College in Shanghai for one year.

Machinima, a word formed by combining 'machine' and 'cinema', is both a new film-making method and also a film genre, created by compiling and manipulating existing video game characters and environments into a virtual film. AMAS is a non-profit organisation based in Singapore committed to evangelise the machinima movement in Asia, identify and groom the next generation of game makers and animators. AMAS is a strong supporter of the global machinima movement led by the Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences.
