In 2005, I was one of four people that helped create the original version of the Django web framework. I designed the admin interface, which is considered one of the framework’s most unique and appealing features. I also designed the site and logo for the open-source Django project.
I also managed the initial development and marketing of Ellington, the first commercial CMS software built on Django.
