ILOCAL INTERNATIONAL B.V. (THE NETHERLANDS)
As a Team leader, Wilder worked on prioritizing issues, delegating and following up their progress. Wilder provided guidance to team members concerning technical solutions and, also working as communication bridge in matters for Marketing, Partners and the development team.
Wilder has implanted the Scrum process to the ilocal IT Operations department. The first move was to get all open issues and create a backlog, then plan for a 3 weeks sprint and start spreading the new process. To broadcast all the changes, Wilder created a new space on Confluence to explain a bit about Scrum and its procedures. In addition, spaces were created to show the current Sprint and its issues and the draft of the planning for the next Sprint.
For projects in operations, a space was created to inform new comers, developers and marketing about technical resources, assumptions, services URLs and more useful information.
As Software Engineer, Wilder worked on technical solutions and maintenance of Backend Systems, based in Java EE, SQL Server, Spring and some other frameworks to facilitate the development process.
Wilder has developed a prototype application with Android serve as a client for ilocal’s services. The content was load via an HTTP Get request as an XML stream and then parsed using a XML Pull Parser.

CuRTS 3 – TomTom International B.V
CURTS 3 is a message broker service used by TomTom and its repair/distributors centres to exchange the devices shipment/maintenance information. The devices’ data, represented in XML files, follows a well defined life-cycle: as soon as new device are distributed, XMLs files are sent from distributors to TomTom and then stored in TomTom’s database. From this time on, as soon as the device has any problem and its owner opens a service request, the device can be traced between TomTom and the repair centre via the message broker system.
DIS – Device Information System – TomTom International B.V
DIS is a back-office system developed and maintained by TomTom to control and store the data coming from device manufactures, distributors and repair centres. The system has a simple user interface, used only by logistics employees, and a message broker service used to process the files coming in via Microsoft BizTalk and also send devices’ status to some other internal systems using ActiveMQ.
