Dan is the founder of President, Wiest & Associates Inc. - The Customer Acquisition and Retention Company® <http://www.wiest.ca>, and personally oversees all client initiatives. His experience with some of North America's largest advertising agencies and client companies is now available to you on a direct basis; without the big agency overhead.

Dan is a major contributor to the marketing industry and has served as Chairman for the Canadian Marketing Association's Annual Digital Marketing Conference. He’s an Executive Committee Member of the CMA's Digital Marketing Council. He has served Chairman of the CMA's Annual Convention and Trade Show for a number of years.

Dan is one of a select group of instructors for the Canadian Marketing Association's Direct Marketing Certification Program, the curriculum that defines direct marketing expertise in Canada <http://www.the-cma.org/certprog/index.html>, and is a frequent speaker on direct marketing and online issues. He is also sought after for customized in-house training and seminars.

Dan spent 10 years in senior advertising agency positions in Canada, and the previous 15 years in various marketing and advertising agency positions in New York City. He has also held direct marketing positions in the publishing and public broadcasting sectors. He has an undergraduate degree in fine arts, and a graduate degree in business from New York University.

He is the author of the introduction for the bible of direct mail production: "Direct Mail Pal - Canada," published by GATF. He is also co-author of the "Search Engine Marketing Primer" series for the Canadian Marketing Association.

Dan’s a former faculty member of the Parsons School of Design in New York. In his spare time, he is a hobby blacksmith and serves on the Board of Directors for Arts Milton.
