Kristen Martin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature in 1992 with post baccalaureate studies in Marketing Management, Financial Accounting, and the Fine Arts. With over 12 years of success in Pharmaceutical and Corporate Marketing, primarily in the field of healthcare, Kris brings a multifaceted approach to the writing process. For 6 years, she partnered with a successful central Kentucky cardiovascular and thoracic group, promoting the practice through symposia planning and marketing collateral materials development. As a Clinical and Editorial Specialist for a pharmaceutical marketing firm, Kris directed development of scientifically accurate presentations for symposia and medical meetings. She acted as onsite clinical liaison between pharmaceutical clients and their physician clientele, editing content onsite and engaging in client relations. In addition, she promoted safety and quality for an acclaimed healthcare system through the establishment of relationships between clinical and medical staff. During this time, she completed certification in professional coding and the Six Sigma Change Acceleration Program. Kristen currently works as a copywriter, creating marketing collateral for six business units at an educational advertising agency and successfully maintains her own copywriting and copyediting business, Who's Your Audience.
