Wow a summary of my professional experience and goals huh?
This reminds me of the scene from Austin Powers when Dr. Evil is in counseling with his son and he goes through his life story. If you haven't seen it - check it out it's pretty entertaining.
Don't worry, I'm not going to get anywhere near that specific. Actually, I'm keeping it short. High School/College = Restaurants. Once I got that dang ole business degree, I did some business development at a small off-road shop in Flagstaff for about a year before becoming a loan officer in '05.
The loan officer gig took me to LA first and then to Phoenix where I have ended up at a desk in the corporate office of the family real estate company. I am the L&G Mortgagbanc liaison for John Hall & Associates. I have worked my way into a position at the real estate brokerage as well, pushing technology.
My goals? Hmmm - well I have to break that down - I am currently building the loan business and have a goal of 2 loans a month for 2008. As far as the real estate company goals - they are not as specific. I view my job as assisting with the introduction/implementation of technology that is helpful for both the brokerage and our associates.
One of my favorite sayings is from an old timer in Flagtown. Whenever I asked him how he was doing he would reply in a raspy voice, "Livin' the dream brotha, livin' the dream!"
