He specializes in strategy and dealmaking for young technology companies through Bluestein & Associates, LLC.

Bluestein was EVP for Corporate and Business Development at Visage Mobile, which provided outsourced solutions to national brands providing private label wireless service.

Before Visage, Bluestein was EVP and Chief Development Officer of NorthPoint Communications, where he negotiated strategic deals with Microsoft, RadioShack, Verizon, Global Crossing, Cable & Wireless, XO and others; and negotiated and managed international JVs in Europe with Versatel, and Canada with Sprint-Canada.

From 1994 to mid-1995, Bluestein was BT/Concert Alliance General Manager, managing MCI’s strategic relationship with British Telecom and launch of the Concert joint venture, and implementing MCI’s BT/Concert strategy for MCI's CEO.

Prior to rejoining MCI in early 1994, Bluestein was VP of Strategic Business Development at CENTEX Telemanagement. He managed geographic expansion for the company, recognized as the fastest growing service company in the US by Inc. Magazine.

Earlier, Bluestein spent several years in Clean Tech and possesses a unique blend of skills, experience and perspective to the clean tech realm, with background in electric utilities, energy, biomass and renewable fuels.
