Created an automatically-updating hurricane-tracking website with pan-and-zoom mapping functionality written in ActionScript on a Python, MySQL, and Linux back-end. The site continuously gathers data from multiple data sources and intelligently synthesizes them into a single, modular web page. The interactive map may be freely embeded on other websites through a simple JavaScript include with a RESTful URL.
