Mattias Wennström’s Summary

I am a researcher mainly investigating the physical layer of wireless communications systems.

I have several years experience of the standard development of 3GPP Rel.7 and Rel.8 (E-UTRA LTE) and broadband wireless access networks such as IEEE 802.16e (WiMAX). Current research focus on 3GPP Rel.10 and beyond 3G infrastructures. My expertise is mainly in the area of multiple antenna (MIMO) technologies and related topics in higher layers.

I have several granted patent families and filed over 30 patent applications in the field of wireless communications.
