I have more than 28 years' experience as a writer, editor and photographer. My work has ranged from writing news and features for daily newspapers, consumer magazines and trade journals to managing a wide range of corporate publishing projects.
My journalism currently focuses on information and IT security, and the privacy and civil liberties implications of technology. I supply features to journals such as Computer Fraud & Security and Network Security, among others.
As a copywriter, I have recently worked on brochures, direct mail and websites for a range of multinational clients including: Adobe, a&o (formerly EDS), ATOS Origin, ATOS Healthcare and Unisys.
For the past 18 years, my main focus has been on editing, writing and managing corporate publishing projects, particularly customer magazines and newsletters. I provide a full package of editorial services (together or individually) including: writing, commissioning, subbing, production and project management. Projects have ranged from four-page newsletters to 60-page multi-language magazines for clients such as IBM, the DTI, Lockheed Martin UK, Computacenter, General Dynamics UK, TNT and many others.
I have a particularly strong track record in IT, technology, defence and aviation, but my experience covers broader business and lifestyle subjects.
As a photographer, I cover all editorial subjects, with strong portfolios in lifestyle, interiors, travel and aviation. I sell stock images both direct and through Alamy (www.alamy.com).
