Publisher & Editor of the Planning Commissioners Journal
Burlington, Vermont Area
I'm the founding Publisher & Editor of the Planning Commissioners Journal, an independent national quarterly aimed at "citizen planners" -- including members of local and regional planning commissions, local elected officials, and citizens active in dealing with land use and zoning issues. We're now in our 17th year, and have some 7,500 subscribers.
I've also written articles on land use planning and zoning topics. More recently, I put together a 250-image slide show/powerpoint presentation titled "Planning Conversations from Coast-to-Coast" that I've given at a several regional and state planning conferences/workshops over the past year-and-a-half. It draws on what I learned during an amazing six weeks that I spent meeting with planners and others as I crossed America on Route 50 (see "Follow the PCJ Across the USA" website listed above).
