I speak frequently (e.g. RSA, Affiliate Summit, CJU) on a diverse range of topics including e-commerce, advertising fraud prevention, spyware, security, experimental media, and community development. Citations include Barron’s Financial Times, Forbes, New York Times, Playboy, Mercury News, Entrepreneur, Fox News, and Revenue Magazine. I work with other researchers to solve some of the most complex security cases such as the Orkut Worm, KMeth Worm, and the SpazBox Puzzle.
I am a Co-founder of ReveNews.com, one of the oldest writing efforts on online revenue generation. Former CEO of XBlock Systems, an anti-malware firm, acquired by Facetime, in 2005. I was instrumental in the development of two patent pending systems to neutralize malware.
In 2004, I served as an expert panelist at the FTC Spyware Workshop. In 2003, I organized and chaired the New York Marketing Summit at the Yale Club to open up dialog that helped the industry produce a nascent Code of Conduct.
I also provided funding and assisted as a creative consultant for the award winning film, Nothing So Strange (2002). The film received the New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision. It also was the first film embracing the open source format. I also served as the Consulting Producer on the drama/humor film Williamsburg (2006), selected as Winner Best Noir at the New York International Film and Video Festival.
My recent work has been in the Second Life platform where I co-created a number of experiences including work with my firm, Meme Science, to create an exact replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. I have also been working in ARGs the most recent being Eldritch Errors, featured in Wired Magazine, an immersive horror series playing out in real time -- on the Internet and in the real world.

In late 2006 I provided the current round of funding for Meme Science. I am charged with strategic guidance and company leadership. I serve as CEO covering areas that include micro media, 3d social networks, micro-chunking, AST, ARGs and most issues e-commerce. I help guide leadership and collaborators in the creation of innovative or experimental products and/or provide consulting services and strategic insight.
I help ensure the firm is proficient with the complex skills required in 3d network or 'metaverses', new metrics, thought leadership, high level strategy, new tactical approaches and risk factor evaluation. In addition this covers social trend synthesis, speaking and writing, and research. Most importantly it is my role to evaluate potential clients as a mutual fit. We focus on select private clients, Fortune 500 firms, and vetted collaborators.
