Freestyle Media and Clear Blue Day are both Web Marketing Agencies operating within the ASX listed Q -Limited (ASX: QXQ). James was initially hired as Chief Operating Officer in Freestyle Media responsible for production in general and delivering large digital projects in particular. In October 2007 following the owners sale of the company to the Q group he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer and was given responsibility for the entire team including the former owners, managing 25 staff. When the founders of Clear Blue Day left the Q group in February 2009, James was handed management responsibility of their team as well.
James has sole responsibility for the P and L. This responsibility focuses on obtaining the best performance from his teams whilst keeping costs to a minimum. Projects in both groups are delivered in a variety of technologies but primarily in Microsoft .NET and SQLServer. Other technologies in the mix are PHP/MySQL and ColdFusion.
